Why Weddings Cost More Per Plate
A wedding plate is not a party plate with a different name on the invoice. Wedding menus run longer, with more starters, more mains and a bigger dessert section; service stretches across several hours instead of one sitting; and the counter and staff numbers go up so 500 people are not queuing behind each other. The non-veg wedding rate also reflects tandoor, biryani and mutton preparations that the party menu does not carry as standard.
What the Starting Rate Includes
A plate price is never only food. At either rate you get a full menu cooked fresh on site, plus chefs, uniformed serving staff, crockery and cutlery, buffet counters with skirting, chafing dishes and cleanup afterwards. There is no separate line for plates, spoons or tables, which is where cheaper-looking quotes usually catch people out.
What Moves the Price Up
- Number of dishes. Two starters and three mains cost less than five starters and six mains, for the same guest count.
- Live counters. Chaat, golgappa, tandoor, tawa, Indo-Chinese, pasta and dessert stations each add a chef and a setup.
- Premium items. Mutton, prawns, paneer-heavy menus, imported fruit and speciality desserts sit above the base menu.
- Guest count. Smaller functions cost slightly more per plate, because staff and setup do not shrink below a point.
- Venue and distance. A farmhouse on the Expressway or a plot with no kitchen access needs more equipment and transport than a clubhouse near Gaur City.
- Separate veg and non-veg setups, where a family wants the two kept fully apart.

No. All rates are before tax, and 5% GST is added on the invoice.
Do you cater for fewer than 30 guests?
30 is our minimum for a full catering setup. For smaller gatherings we can look at a delivered menu instead, so call and tell us what you need.
How much advance do you take?
20% of the quote confirms your date. The balance is settled as agreed on the quote before the function.
Can we taste the food first?
For larger bookings, yes. We arrange a tasting of the shortlisted menu so the family can confirm dishes and spice levels.
